| Admin/Biog History | Antony Cyprian 'Tony' Bridge (1914- 2007) was a British artist who became an Anglican priest. He was Dean of Guildford for 18 years, from 1968 to 1986, and wrote several books on the history of Constantinople and the Crusades.
Nicolson met Bridge when they were both enlisted in the army & working for the Intelligence Corps during the Second World War. The diaries reveal they remained friends for many years afterwards. |
