| Admin/Biog History | In the early 2000s, Hayes oversaw a project entitled, 'A catalogue raisonné of the portraits of Thomas Gainsborough', which was being co-authored by Lindsay Stainton and Hugh Belsey and supported by the Paul Mellon Centre and Philip Mould, Historical Portraits. It was scheduled for completion in 2009, and thus remained unfinished upon Hayes death in 2005. |
