Also includes a reply from Hayes, dated 20 April 1970, some research notes and a photograph of one of the works -two letters to Bennett & Marshall, dealers, dated 24 July & 4 August 1970, concerning the sale of a letter sent from Gainsborough to William Jackson which Hayes is seeking in his research on Gainsborough's drawings -letter from Dr. Milo Keynes, dated 8 November 1971, concerning a sketch in his collection.
