Admin/Biog HistoryAn amenity society is an organisation which monitors planning and development. Both the Twentieth Century Society and the Victorian Society are National Amenity Societies, and as such are statutory consultees on alterations to listed buildings, and by law must be notified of any work to a listed building which involves demolition.

Stamp was an active member in both the Twentieth Century Society and the Victorian Society.
