Admin/Biog HistoryThe first volume of the Thirties Society Journal was published in 1981. The first two volumes were edited by Clive Aslet. Stamp took over and edited volumes 3-7. In 1994 the journal was renamed to Twentieth Century Architecture.
DescriptionThis series contains material relating to Stamp's role as Honorary Editor of The Thirties Society Journal, volumes 3-7.

There was no discernible order to the material in this sub-series, so during the cataloguing process it was arranged by volume, with one file for miscellaneous correspondence. This file includes undated correspondence, and correspondence relating to proposed and unpublished articles. It is recommended that this sub-series is best viewed alongside the sub-series GMS/2/1/3, Correspondence files, for a fuller picture of the activities being under taken by Stamp, within the Society.
