| Admin/Biog History | Stamp's research into Bourdon, began when he was a lecturer at the Mackintosh School of Architecture, where he applied for a conservation grant to restore Bourdon's Beaux-Art student drawings held within the collection of the School. The application was unsuccessful.
Stamp was also involved in discussion over an exhibition related to Bourdon, held at Glasgow School of Art, it is unclear whether the exhibition was ever visualised. He also wrote an article for the journal of the Architectural Heritage Society of Scotland, titled 'An architect of the entente cordiale : Eugène Bourdon, 1870-1916 : Glasgow and Versailles', published in 2004. |

The correspondence concerns the location of, and information contained within, orginal documents relating to life and work of Bourdon. It also concerns Bourdon's role at Glasgow School of Art and the teaching of architecture in Scotland.
