| Admin/Biog History | Henry Medd was a British-born architect, who worked in India. He was part of the team of architects led by Edwin Lutyens and Herbert Baker, who designed New Delhi. He was elected Master of the Art Workers' Guild in 1959.
Stamp knew Medd through the Art Workers Guild. Before visiting India in 1975, Stamp received advise from Medd. In 1976 Stamp authored an article titled 'Indian Summer', which concerns the architects Medd and Shoosmith. |
