| Admin/Biog History | Stamp's research into the Lutyens was extensive, he researched the architect throughout his career for a variety of activities including scholarship, journalism, teaching, and exhibitions.
Stamp first visited India in 1975 with Colin Amery, to visit LutyensÂ’ buildings in New Delhi. In 1976 Stamp authored an article for the Architectural Review titled 'Indian Summer'. In 1980, Stamp contributed to the Lutyens exhibition, held at the Hayward Gallery, and the exhibition catalogue. In 1981 Stamp was asked to contribute to a Lotus International journal titled , 'Architecture of India: unity and contradiction'. |
