Admin/Biog HistoryJames Lees-Milne was an architectural historian and secretary of the Country Houses Committee of the National Trust between 1936-1950. He was also a member of the Georgian Group.

Stamp visited Lees-Milne in 1982 concerning his research into the Georgian Group and afterwards they continued to correspond in a personal capacity.
