Admin/Biog HistoryCraig Hamilton is a South African architect who has lived in Britain since 1986. Craig Hamilton Architects was established in 1991 and specialises in progressive classical and traditional architecture.The integration of sculpture into architectural commissions is a hallmark of the practice’s design approach and Hamilton regularly collaborates with the sculptor Alexander Stoddart.

Hamilton and Stamp were friends, Stamp wrote an article on the work of Hamilton in Feb 2017 for Architecture Today, titled 'Art and Soul'.
DescriptionThis file includes images of work being undertaken at Williamstrip and Ascot, and copies of Hamilton's architectural drawings for mulitple projects. It also includes cards sent to Stamp from Hamilton.

Of particular interest:

-an illustration card gifted to Stamp by Hamilton on his birthday, dated 2008, housed in the OS portfolio.
