| Admin/Biog History | The Society of London Art Dealers is the principal trade association in the UK for dealers in fine art. It was established in 1932 and all members are vetted by its Executive Committee to ensure they meet the highest standards of honesty, integrity, expertise and quality of stock.
George Davey of M. Knoedler & Co. was Vice Chairman in 1943, and during the 1950s, the company were amongst approximately twenty dealers in the United Kingdom to have membership of the Society. |
