Admin/Biog HistoryAlexander Joseph Finberg, 1866-1939 was an art historian and expert on J.M.W. Turner. He was a founder of the Walpole Society, and was commissioned in 1905 to catalogue and organise the paintings in the Turner Bequest.

-thirty-four loose cuttings found inserted at the back of the volume titled Cuttings 1906-1924 (FHS/3/7/2). These comprise articles about the Turner Bequest and reviews of the following publications by Alexander Finberg:
