| Admin/Biog History | Hilda Felicitie Finberg (c1885-1959) was the second wiife of art historian Alexander Joseph Finberg (1866-1939). They owned the Cotswold Gallery, which operated from 59 Frith Street, London, between 1921-1938. They dealt in old master and modern prints, and British drawings and watercolours, many of which were acquired by the British Museum.
After the Second World War, Finberg worked as a volunteer with Mrs Croft-Murray in the Print Room at the British Museum, compiling an index to the Whitley Papers. |
