Rae, Professor of Art at the same institution; a chronology of a small painting and pencil sketch of Jane, Duchess of Gordon and her son in the Krannert Museum Collection; a photocopy of a note of authentication for the painting written by William Roberts, 20 July 1936 and a transcript of the same document; a catalogue entry and a summary description of the painting. Also includes a document containing information about other portraits of Jane, Duchess of Gloucester.
