Admin/Biog History	Sewell and his mother regularly collected newscuttings from various publications on many subjects. As Sewell had an interest in fakes and forgeries, he acquired newscuttings on these subjects over a period of forty years.
Description	This material comprises newscuttings which were found amongst Sewell's papers. The subject matter includes fakes, forgers, forgeries, auction rings, and the sale of Duccio di Buoninsegna's picture The Virgin and Child with Four Angels to the National Gallery, London in 1968.
