| Admin/Biog History | Dillington House in Somerset dates back to the sixteenth century and is the former home of Prime Minister Lord North. In 1950 it became a venue for conferences and meetings and in 1995 it was licensed for Civil Ceremonies. Dillington House serves the South West region as a centre for adult education offering a wide variety of practical and academic subjects on a residential or non-residential basis. The courses take the form of weekend study breaks, intensive day courses, and summer schools. Sewell gave six lectures at Dillington House over the course of five years. |
