Henry Buxton Forman (18421917) was a bibliographer and antiquarian bookseller who also pursued a career in the Post Office from 1860-1907. In 1934 it was revealed that he had conspired with Thomas James Wise (18591937) to purvey large quantities of forged first editions of Georgian and Victorian authors. |
