| Description | This photograph album contains photographs of the Oppé family, their close friends and various members of the domestic staff. In particular, this volume features photographs of Paul and Valentine Oppé, their children, Armide and Denys, and Paul's mother, Pauline Oppé. There are also some photographs of Valentine with her siblings of the Tollemache Family.
There are a large amount of photographs in the album but many seem to have fallen out or been lost as there are a several empty spaces. There are many similar images in the file of loose photographs in this series (ref: APO/12//7/2), and it seems likely that they were originally kept in this album. |
