| Description | This file contains eight letters and a postcard from Paul Oppé's brother, Ernest Oppé, dated between 14 December 1908-12 July 1941, concerning him welcoming Valentine to the family, and later, his involvement in the First World War, when he was stationed in Holland. The postcard, from [c 1917], depicts Ernest and fellow prisoners for a Christmas 1917 football tournament at Gefangenenlager Döberitz, a German prisoner of war camp. Also includes a postcard from Valentine to Ernest, dated 14 July 1918.
