| Description | This series contains material relating to Oppé's family, from his parents' generation to his grandchildren. There is a large amount of general genealogical material, including written notes about the family, birth, death and marriage certificates and newspaper cuttings. There is also a very detailed family tree.
Beyond this more general material, there is a large set of papers generated after the deaths of Oppé's mother, Pauline Oppé, and her brother, John Jaffé. This includes detailed legal documentation of their respective estates and a large amount of correspondence between Oppé and his siblings (mainly his brother, John Oppé) about inheritance. |
