Barbier, dated between 27 Oct 1952-Sep 1954, concerning his acquisition of works by Alexander and John Robert Cozens and the correspondence of Sawrey Gilpin (1733-1807). Also includes ten photographs of works by Alexander and John Robert Cozens, mostly annotated on reverse; and two transcripts of a letter from Gilpin, dated 1768, concerning the Alexander Cozens publication, 'The principles of beauty relative to the human head' (1778) -letter from R.B.
