-research correspondence -research correspondence with Sydney D. Kitson -research on the collection of Russell Colman -research material on collections and auctions -various annotated exhibition catalogues, journals and a sales catalogue -notebook of annotated transcriptions of Cotman's letters -general research notes
There is also small amount of material which makes reference to Cotman's sons, Miles Edmund (1810-1858) and John Joseph (1814-1878), who were both artists.
It should be noted that material can be assumed to be about J.S. Cotman, unless otherwise stated, although it is not always clear from the material which artist is being referred to. |
