Also includes invitations to private views at the Grosvenor Galleries and Mansard Galleries with research notes on the reverse (removed from pages 28-29 and 46-47 respectively) -catalogue of a centenary exhibition held at the Royal Society of British Artists between March-April 1923 -catalogue of an exhibition of works by Cotman held at Ferens Art Gallery during January 1938. Also includes some related research notes (removed from pages 4-5) -catalogue of an exhibition of works by Cotman which were a bequest from Sydney Kitson held at the Royal Institute of British Architects between 6-28 June 1939. Also includes a letter from the Librarian Editor, Royal Institute of British Architects, dated 31 May 1939, concerning the itinerary of a private view and lecture connected with the exhibition and a letter from Edward Carter, dated 16 Jun 1939, concerning his views of the exhibition (removed from pages 18-19 and the back cover page respectively) -catalogue of the Thirtle centenary exhibition held at Norwich Castle Museum and Art Galleries between 19 July-30 September 1939. Also includes research notes concerning Thirtle and the Norwich School of artists, a photograph of 'Fishing boats, storm coming' by Thirtle and a letter from Christine Hiskey, Country Life, dated 20 Jul 1939, concerning their opinion of the exhibition (all removed from pages 16-17)
