He was elected Fellow of All Souls College, Oxford, in 1929 and was Warden of the College from 1952 to 1977. The archive does not document when or how Nicolson and Sparrow met, but in a letter dated 12 February 1932 Sparrow describes himself as Nicolson's ' moral guardian'. |
