| Admin/Biog History | Petherbridge visited Yemen with conservator and friend Jane McAusland, from 9-21 Feb 1989. For the trip they used the travel company Jack Jackson. Whilst there Petherbridge gave a lecture at the British Council in Sana'a on the Islamic sources in her work.
On the last night of their visit some of Petherbridge and McAusland's belongings were stolen.
On her return Petherbridge wrote an article for the Financial Times about the conservation of the old city of Sana'a. |
