Title1985-1988, Art for Architecture correspondence
Admin/Biog HistoryThe Art and Architecture Research team (AART) was set up with joint funding from Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation and the Department of Environment (DOE) to prepare a reference and source book on building projects involving collaboration with artists and/or craftspeople.

The purpose of the research project was to produce a text and illustrative material to act as a practical guide and source of ideas to encourage developers and patrons in the private and public sectors to work with artists, as well as architects, so that sculpture, paintings, environmental works etc become more often an integral part of building design and renovation.

Petherbridge compiled and edited the text in 1984-1985, and the publication was published by Her Majesty's Stationary Office in 1987.
