Title1982-1984, 'Warwick Arts Trust Exhibition 1983'
Admin/Biog HistoryPetherbridge was Manchester City Art Gallery's first 'Artist in Residence'. The position was supported by the Arts Council of Great Britain, and was originally from April to June 1982, but was extended for a further three months from September to November. There was an exhibition at the end of the residency, held 4 Nov-4 Dec 1982 at Manchester City Art Gallery. The Warwick Arts Trust, were intending on mounting an exhibition of Petherbridge's work in March 1983, but this was brought forward to 27 Jan-26 Feb 1983, to make a joint venture with Manchester City Art Gallery instead.
