| Admin/Biog History | The Advanced Centre in Drawing (ACiD) was set up in 2002, by John France, Senior Lecturer at the University of the West of England (UWE). It was established as a centre of excellence in Drawing with the primary purpose of research into, promotion and the development of current, contemporary drawing activities across both the academic and professional sectors.
In 2002 Petherbridge was appointed Arnolfini Professor of Drawing at UWE. ACiD also hosted two fellowships supported by the Henry Moore Foundation and the Evelyn Williams Trust.
In addition ACiD organised drawing workshops called 'Drawing Quarters'. |
