After the success of the exhibition Petherbridge began turning all the research she had undertaken for the exhibition into a publication. Petherbridge worked on this publication, continuing to research drawing for the next three decades, culminating in the publication Petherbridge, D. (2010) The primacy of drawing : histories and theories of practice. New Haven: Yale University Press. As part of the research for the publication she visited America to study drawings in various museums and galleries. |
