| Description | This sketchbook is inscribed 'South America (2)' on the cover and while undated it appears to capture Waterfield's impressions of Chile, Argentina and Brazil during his tour of South America in 1964-1965. It is complete and has 30 pages, with some pages used on both sides. It includes sketches in pencil, mainly of picturesque scenes and people, but there is also a sketch of a parrot. Around half of the drawings are labelled, with subjects noted as:
Chile: -Antofagasta -Machu Picchu -Valparaiso -Santiago -Puerto Montt
Argentina: -Puerto Frias
Brazil: -Ouro Preto
Three drawings have been overlaid with a grid structure for enlarging purposes. Two sketches have annotations.
The sketchbook is a little larger than A4 in size.
