| Admin/Biog History | Potcroft in Sutton, Pulborough, West Sussex, was a private house designed by Lucas (of Connell, Ward and Lucas) in 1937-1938 and commissioned by Dr Llewellyn Thomas. The original designs, involving large amounts of timber, and site were changed due to opposition in the planning application process. Best and Lloyd light fittings were used in the project. The building was badly damaged in storms in 1987 but was sympathetically repaired and restored. |
