| Admin/Biog History | Numbers 56 (also known as 'Unique'), 62 (also known as 'Foursquare') and 'One Other' on Wicklands Avenue, Saltdean in East Sussex, were three speculative houses built by Amyas Connell and Basil Ward (of Connell and Ward) in 1934-1935 as a part of the development plans of Charles William Neville to be built at Saltdean. Number 62 ('Foursquare') was turned in to a Nursing Home in 1949; One Other was destroyed in a fire; only number 56 ('Unique') was still standing in 2008. |
