| Description | This section contains the minute books of the governing board and committees of Saint Ultan's Hospital, which were responsible for the running and administration of the hospital.
Under the Hospital's Constitution a Board was set up to manage the hospital. The constitution also provided for the establishment of four committees as they were needed; Medical, Nursing, Lay and Finance. As the hospital developed addition committees were established; Utility Society (1933) and Kathleen Lynn Memorial Committee (1956).
It is clear from the annual reports that there was also an Amusement Committee which ran from the foundation of the hospital; however none of its minute books have survived. |
