DescriptionThis is a pair of dressing shears with a round point and close shank. It has two finger loops at one end, a medium length shank, a screw joint, and two blades that create the scissor. The scissors have "MADE IN SHEFFIELD" engraved to the right of the screw joint.

This pair of scissors are heavily corroded. with both sides being covered in rust. The side with the engraving is moderately rusted, concentrated predominantly on the finger loops, the screw joint, and the edges of the blades. The other side is heavily corroded, and that corrosion is present on the finger loops, shanks, and blades.

These shears would have been used for wound care, particularly for cutting dressings and bandages.
