| Description | The green cardboard case, elegantly stamped with “Paragon No. 4” in gold ink and featuring the brand’s logo on the cap, is designed with a push-fit detachable section to reveal the steel scalpel handle. The handle itself proudly displays the “Paragon” name and number 4 on one side, with “Made in England” etched on the opposite side. It is crafted to hold Paragon scalpel blades ranging in size from 20 to 25, like the MIMM/2018-5-15 model. To fit a blade, the blade should be grasped with a curved forceps, haemostatic forceps, or needle holder, align it with the handle’s side-fenestrated tip. Then, it should be push fit into place, ensuring it is secure for precise and safe use. The handle appears corroded towards the push-fit area, and the case is damaged. |
