| Description | Two leather doctor's bags, with contents, and other equipment used by dispensary doctors Dr John Murnane (1888-1969), his wife Dr Irene Murnane (1903-2006) and Dr William H. Sexton (1894-1961).
John Murnane was dispensary doctor for the Dunsany/Kilmessan/Kilmoon District from 1916 to 1959. Irene Murnane worked as an unpaid assistant to her husband and then as a locum until she was 90 years old.
William H. Sexton was a friend of the family and was dispensary doctor for the Sandyford/Glencullen District from about 1925 to 1960. |
