| Description | The black faux leather cardboard case has a push-fit lid. When removed, it reveals a sealed ampoule made of amber glass. The label, written in brown ink, reads: "Sterilised Concentrated Solution of Pure Dextrose B.D.H. 50 per cent. The contents of this ampoule (2 fl. oz.) diluted to one pint with Sterilised Water produces a 5 per cent. solution of Dextrose isotonic with blood serum.
