| Description | The white and light-blue package contains three individually sealed scalpel blades out of the original six. On one side, it says "Swann-Morton Surgical Blades B.P. Type: 24 Six Blades No. 24." On the other side, it reads "Manufactured from the finest surgical steel in the world by W.R. Swann & Co. Ltd, Penn Works, Sheffield 6, England," along with a shape print of the scalpel. The scalpel No. 24 is a large blade with a semi-circular shape. It is sharpened along its leading edge and is used for making long incisions in general surgery and autopsy procedure. |
