DescriptionThis is a clear glass stoppered bottle with an orange label that has “Nitric acid” handwritten on it and “Poison” in black ink. The bottle is now empty. The bottom is embossed with “KBL 122."
Nitric Acid is a colorless liquid that is used in the manufacture of inorganic and organic nitrates and nitro compounds for fertilizers, dye intermediates, explosives, and many different organic chemicals. Continued exposure to vapor may cause chronic bronchitis; chemical pneumonitis may occur.
