Watericolour illustration of the heart and lungs following dissection, notes on illustration read 'Dilated right ventricle which forms the apex of the heart. Pulmonary artery of very large calibre. Aorta of very reduced size. Two pulmonary veins open into the right auricle which is also dilated. The cavae also open into the auricle as usual. Lungs congested. Pleurae thickened. The foramen ovale was open in the heart.'
