| Description | The IFPA Youth Group first began in the early 1980s. They offered a confidential telephone service called 'Adolescent Confidential Telephone Service' (ACTS) and a clinic which opened in 1986 at the Synge Street location. Another youth group was created in 1995, which modelled ACTS, it was called, The Social Education, Contraception and Sexuality in Ireland (SECSI). They ran a confidential telephone service for young people across the country. All these services were run by and for young adults. The file is arranged into five section ACTS, Clinic, Meetings, Miscellaneous and SECSI. |
