| Description | Hand seal of the King and Queen's College of Physicians in Ireland (later RCPI). Possibly the Treasurer's seal. Wooden handle with circular metal die depicting a shield in the centre with Hercules slaying the Hydra. Underneath is the motto "INVIDET ORCO". Around the edge (in reverse) are the words "S.THESAUR:COLL:MEDICORUM.IN.HIBERNIA". Accompanied by a small square of cardboard upon which is a sample of the seal, in red wax, and a handwritten note stating "The College Arms in use up to 1864".
