| Description | Silver Haughton Clincial medal. Obverse: the arms of Sir Patrick Dun (dexter hand atop a shield upon which there is a sword in the centre, padlocks either side, a small star in the top left corner and the motto "CELER ATQUE FIDELIS", below). Around the edge are the words "PATR: DUN.EQ:AUR:NOSOCOMII.SCHOLAE.MEDICINAE.IN.HIBERN:FUNDR." Reverse: around the edge are the words "HAUGHTON CLINICAL MEDAL INSTITUTED AD 1868" and in the centre, "AWARDED TO M.J. FOX FOR MEDICINE FOR THE SESSION 1966-67". Also the maker's mark "JMCO" and Dublin hallmarks (date letter unclear). In black presentation box. |
