Plaster bust of English physician Thomas Sydenham (1624-1689) who, as one of the early founders of clinical medicine and epidemiology, became known as "the English Hippocrates". Bust is a copy of the one by Joseph Wilton (1722-1803) in the Royal College of Physicians, London.
