Description	File of correspondence between the Standing Committee and it's consitutent hospitals relating to the payment of fees by medical students. Under an agreement of 1877 (DCHC/1) the fee was set at 12 guineas for nine months, eight guineas for six months and five guineas for three months by all the hospitals. Letters relate to a proposal by the Committee to reduce the fee and insist on full payment of the fee in advance. Also some letters from the hospitals asking if they can reduce or wave the fee in certain circumstances.
