DescriptionLetter (3 April) thanking Corrigan for showing him his letter to Hicks Beach, expressing his support of Corrigan's views and his hope that Corrigan will not resign his seat of the Senate as FitzGerald thinks something will be done by the present government. Copy of Corrigan's reply at end of the letter he confirms he will not resign his seat, and raises matters for discussion in the next meeting. Letter (15 May) from FitzGerald acknowledging receipt of Corrigan's letter of the 11 May, which FitzGerald will forward to Lord Marlborough, the Lord Lieutenant, as 'I agree with all your views & it is of great importance that he should be aware of them'.
