Items include a draft paper on cholera, newspaper cuttings, printed speeches, exerts from Hansard, a design for a economical bedstead for the Central Board of Health Ireland, a poem by Corrigan and a photograph. Also includes notices from newspapers about Corrigan's state of health during the last month of his life, obituary notices and letters of sympathy. Many items are accompanied by biographical or explanatory notes.
The book also contains items relating to the wider Corrigan family including family photographs, newspaper cuttings and obituary notices of her siblings, and letters appointing her husband Richard Martin High Sheriff of the City of Dublin (1865 and 1866) and Deputy Lieutenant of the City of Dublin (1869). |
