DescriptionThis is a rib raspatory. It consists of a solid bulb-shaped metal handle, extending to a curved left spiraled hook shaped tip. It is a specialised cardio-thoracic instrument that surgeons commonly use to scrape bone and other hard tissues from the ribs, in order to smooth the edges of the selected bone and broaden the surgical approach. No manufacturer's mark present.
