| Description | The ovum forceps are composed of two fenestrated jaws, screw joint, and are chrome-plated (as marked). The shanks are straight and between the finger rings there is the ratchet mechanism. There is the "F" logo inscribed on the shank, possibly indicating the man ufacturer, and the numbers "7" and "17". It is used to grasp, hold, manipulate and remove tissue from inside the uterus, including the ovum and placenta. |
