Description
Typescript account of a lecture given by Norman on Melancholia. Norman begins by discussing the Dangerous Lunatics Act, and the deficiencies he see in it and the way it is used to commit people. Norman then presents two patients from the Asylum who have melancholia, both have tried to commit suicide for which they have been committed. Both women suffer from delusions that they have killed members of their family.
A manuscript note gives the patients names and [case numbers].
